The National Symphony Orchestra, in Washington DC, has announced the upcoming retirements of four long-term string section players
The National Symphony Orchestra, in Washington DC, has announced the upcoming retirements of four long-term string section players - Assistant Principal Violist William Foster, Assistant Principal 2nd Violinist Pam Hentges and section violinists Holly Hamilton and Peter Haase.
William has been a member of the ensemble since 1968.
Pam, Holly and Peter have served the orchestra for 21, 40 and 34 years respectively.
Collectively, the four have given over 145 years service to the group.
