Recorded with Turkish composer and pianist Fazil Say, the disc features Say's three "Ballads" and "Yürüyen Köşk" Piano Quintets and Schumann's Piano Quintet in E Flat Major, Op. 44

Solo Musica Records has announced the release of the Swiss-based Casal Quartet's new album: "Ballads & Quintets".

"This CD was inspired by concerts we previously performed with Fazıl Say, including the amazing first performances of his "Yürüyen Köşk'' Piano Quintet," violist Markus Fleck said. "Yürüyen Köşk'' Piano Quintet is like no other, it is so full of colorful sounds, exotic rhythms and beautiful melodies," he added.
