B Records has announced the release of the Paris-based Quatuor Girard's new album: Saint-Saëns.

Comprising family members Hugues, Agathe, Odon and Lucie Girard, the disc features Saint-Saëns' String Quartet No. 1 in E Minor Op. 112 - coupled with Saint-Saëns' Piano Quartet in E Major, with pianist Guillaume Bellom.

"To record the incredible works of Camile Saint-Saens has been an unbelievable opportunity to really explore these unique scores - the source of so much inspiration for us as a quartet ..." the ensemble has told The Violin Channel.
