Peter CottonTale Named as Artist-in-Residence with the Chicago Sinfonietta

The producer and composer will appear in three subscription concerts, as well as community events

The GRAMMY Award-winning producer and composer Peter CottonTale has recently been named as the new Artist-in-Residence with the Chicago Sinfonietta for the 2023/24 season.

As part of his residency, CottonTale will act as emcee for three of the ensemble's subscription concerts and will be actively involved in six of Sinfonietta’s free-to-the-public community program events.

In addition, he will appear at the group's Annual Gala, Soundscape, and will host a Listening Party at Chicago's Soho House.

As a producer, Peter CottonTale has been associated with a number of big names in the music industry, including Chance the Rapper, SZA, Justin Bieber, YEBBA, Tank & the Bangas, and Vic Mensa. He garnered particular renown for his work as executive producer on Chance the Rapper's GRAMMY Award-winning album, Coloring Book.

In 2020, CottonTale released his debut album CATCH — which was listed in KCRW's top 10 albums that year, and also featured on similar lists.
