Pianist Avery Gagliano Joins Curtis Artist Management Roster
A recent Curtis graduate, Gagliano is only the sixth artist to be offered a place on this roster
Pianist Avery Gagliano, who recently graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music, has become one of just six musicians/ensembles to sign with Curtis Artist Management for representation. She will be represented by Andrew Lane and Catelyn Cohen.
The winner of both First Prize and the prize for Best Concerto at the 2020 National Chopin Piano Competition, Gagliano has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Warsaw Philharmonic Hall, the Louis Vuitton Foundation, Salle Cortot, Luxembourg Philharmonie, Ehrbar Saal in Vienna, and La Grange au Lac in Évian.
In 2021, she released her debut album Reflections on the Steinway & Sons label. The disc features works by Chopin, Haydn, Schumann, and Thomas Adès.
Gagliano has appeared as a soloist with the Louisville Orchestra, Maryland Symphony, and Rochester Symphony, as well as in recitals throughout Europe for Sir András Schiff's Building Bridges series. She has also appeared at leading festivals including the Verbier, Gilmore, Aspen, Bravo! Vail, Sanibel, and Miami International Piano festivals.
While at Curtis, Gagliano studied with Robert McDonald, Gary Graffman, and Jonathan Biss. In the fall of 2024, she will join Sir András Schiff’s Performance Program for Young Pianists at Germany's Kronberg Academy.
The other musicians on the Curtis Artist Management roster are Michelle Cann, the Dover Quartet, Ji Su Jung, Elissa Lee Koljonen, and Trio Zimbalist.
