Pianist Jaeden Izik-Dzurko Signs With Askonas Holt
Izik-Dzurko has joined the agency for worldwide general management
Hailing from Canada’s British Columbia, pianist Jaeden Izik-Dzurko has now joined the roster of the Askonas Holt artist management agency, where he will be represented worldwide by Laura Baker and Maya Feldman.
A current Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship recipient, Izik-Dzurko was the Gold Medal winner at the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition, and recently became the first Canadian instrumentalist to be awarded the Grand Prize Laureate at the Concours Musical International de Montréal.
His performances this season include those with the National Arts Centre Orchestra Ottawa, Orquesta Ciudad de Granada, Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra, and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra; his solo recital debuts include the Fondation Louis Vuitton, Rheingau Musik Festival, and Snape Maltings.
Now on a recital tour in Korea, Izik-Dzurko will also be performing in Japan and across Europe as part of the Steinway Prizewinner Concerts Network, including recitals at Elbphilharmonie, Wigmore Hall, and Leipzig Gewandhaus.
Recent concerto performances include the Edmonton Symphony, Bilbao Orkestra Sinfonikoa, Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, Oviedo Filarmonía, Oxford Philharmonic, and the RTVE Symphony Orchestra. In 2024, he released his debut EP on Warner Classics, featuring a selection of his performances at Leeds.
His other achievements include first prize in the Hilton Head, Maria Canals, and Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competitions, where he also won the Canon Audience Prize and Chamber Music Award.
A graduate of the Juilliard School, Izik-Dzurko is currently studying with Jacob Leuschner at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold and Benedetto Lupo at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
