Pianist Polina Osetinskaya Signs with Primavera Consulting and Little Tribeca
Osetinskaya, who has been a vocal critic of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, has appeared in recital with artists including Maxim Vengerov
The Russian pianist Polina Osetinskaya has joined the rosters of Little Tribeca and Primavera Consulting for exclusive management in Europe (excluding the UK and Spain) and Asia. Osetinskaya's recording activities will be part of this packages, and will be represented by Little Tribeca’s label Evidence Classics.
Both firms are boutique management agencies. Primavera was founded by Anastasia Boudanoque in 2015, and represents artists including Mischa Maisky, Tan Dun, and Lucas Debargue, while Nicolas Bartholomée's Little Tribeca represents Ilya Gringolts, Ophélie Gaillard, and Apollo's Cabinet, among others.
Osetinskaya has appeared in recital at the world's major venues, including the Berlin Philharmonie, Vienna’s Musikverein and Konzerthaus, London’s Barbican Centre, the Salzburg Festspiele, Carnegie Hall, and the Sydney Opera house — as well as across venues in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Poland, the USA, Russia, and Israel.
She has appeared in partnership with Maxim Vengerov, Teodor Currentzis, David Russell Davies, Laurent Petitgirard, Vladimir Spivakov, Andrey Boreyko, and Yan Pascal Tortelier.
Her discography includes recordings on labels such as Quartz, Naxos, Sony Music, Bel Air, and Melodiya labels, and her most recent disc — of works by Giya Kancheli, Valentin Silvestrov and Arvo Pärt — was released on Evidence Classics in 2024.
A vocal critic of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Osetinskaya spoke on social media of her "horror, shame and disgust" at the atrocities committed by her nation. She nonetheless chose to remain living in Moscow, despite many of her concerts being either cancelled or substantially disrupted by Russian authorities.
