SAD NEWS | Former Princeton Symphony Concertmaster Joseph Kovacs Has Died

Hungarian-born American violinist and conductor Joseph Kovacs has passed away - aged 91

Hungarian-born American violinist and conductor Joseph Kovacs has passed away - aged 91.

A graduate of the Franz Liszt Royal Hungarian Academy of Music, where he studied with Zoltan Kodaly and Bela Bartok, Mr Kovacs served as longtime Concertmaster of the Princeton Symphony Orchestra - and held a teaching position on faculty at the Westminster Choir College and the Mason Gross School of the Arts.
