Yugoslavian-born Finnish composer Jovanka Trbojevic has passed away following a serious illness - aged just 54.

A piano and composition graduate of the Prague Polytechnic and the Sibelius Academy, in Helsinki, she composed dozens of chamber works, orchestral, film and television scores - and was the recipient of the 2008 'Prix Italia' prize for her large radiophonic work, ‘CreationGame’.
