New York's Salon de Virtuosi Announces 2022 Career Grant Winners
Seven young artists were recognized for their talent and each will receive $5,000
Charlotte White's Salon de Virtuosi, in New York City, announced the seven recipients of their 2022 Salon de Virtuosi Career Grants:

Derek Louie, cello
Daniel Rafimayeri, violin
Miray Ito, violin
Mariam and Amira Abouzahra, violin
Evren Ozel, piano
Supporting emerging international talents since 1995, Salon de Virtuosi (SDV) has endowed these young artists with over $600,000 in Grants. Each winner received $5,000.
SDV's 2022 Gala Awards Concert will be performed live at Merkin Concert Hall on October 19, 2022.
Previous grant recipients include violinists Philippe Quint and Karen Gomyo, pianists Joyce Yang, Drew Petersen and Conrad Tao — and VC Artists Yesong Sophie Lee, Zlatomir Fung, Minami Yoshida, Josef Spacek, Paul Huang and the Aizuri Quartet. Additional winners include VC Young Artists Nathan Meltzer and Moné Hattori, plus VC Rising Stars Hina Khuong-Huu and Fiona Khuong-Huu.
Founded by concert pianist Charlotte White, a former student of the legendary Josef Lhevinne and Richard Singe, the Salon is now entering its 26th season. It is dedicated to the discovery and support of talented young musicians.
