38 year old Serbian-born Swedish composer Djuro Zivkovic has been announced as the 2013 recipient of the prestigious USD $100,000 Grawemeyer Award for Music Composition

A violin and composition graduate of the  Music Academy in Belgrade and the Stockholm Royal College of Music, Zivkovic currently serves a teaching position at the Stockholm Royal College of Music
