Steinway and Henle Publishers Announce New Sheet Music Partnership

Entitled "Steinway x Henle – a classic pairing," the initiative allows new Steinway piano owners simple access to digital manuscripts

With the exclusive alliance, G. Henle Publishers will offer Steinway & Sons owners a certain amount of credits toward the purchase of sheet music via an app. 

Henle's catalog of digital scores is all available via the Henle Library App — which combines Henle's Urtexts and the newest technology to enable access on smart devices.

In 2016, Henle became the only major classical music publisher to venture into the digital world, instating the app.

Advocates of the app include violinists Augustin Hadelich and Arabella Steinbacher, plus Steinway artist pianists Emanuel Ax and Igor Levit.

"Steinway & Sons, makers of the world’s finest pianos, has partnered with G. Henle Publishers, renowned for their Urtext editions of the highest quality," tweeted Steinway & Sons.
