STOLEN ALERT — 1754 Giovanni Battista Gabrielli Violin

The instrument was recently stolen on a train in Belgium
On June 21, a 1754 Giovanni Battista Gabrielli violin was stolen in Belgium. The theft occurred between 9:00–10:20 AM on the IC 3130 train between Antwerp and Bruxelles Midi, Belgium.
The instrument was in a black carbon GEWA violin case adorned with multiple stickers, along with a violin bow by Claude Thomassin, made between 1910–1920, and a violin bow marked Penzel.
The items belonged to Valerie Leopold and the case has Leopold’s name marked next to the handle.
