Stuttgart International Violin Competition Announces Candidates
The competition will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, from February 19 to 26, 2024
Organized by the Guadagnini Foundation and the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts, the Stuttgart International Violin Competition is open to international violinists 28 years of age and younger.
The 2024 competition's prize money is totaling 60,000 Euros. The first prize winner will benefit from several important performance engagements, the loan of a 1746 Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin, and artist management for the three subsequent years.

The 2024 jury will comprise Ingolf Turban (President), Shmuel Ashkenasi, Ulf Wallin, Hagai Shaham, Suyoen Kim, Rudolf Koelman, Dr. Harald Eggebrecht, Josef Rissin, and Stefan Fehlandt.
The first two rounds take place with a piano accompaniment, while the final will be accompanied partially by the Lotus Quartett and by the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Ariel Zuckermann.
