23 year old Jan Mracek, from the Czech Republic has been awarded 1st prize at the 2014 Fritz Kreisler International Violin Competition, in Vienna, Austria. 2nd prize was awarded to 21 year old VC 'Young Artist' William Hagen, from the United States – and 3rd prize presented to 19 year old VC 'Young Artist' Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, from Austria.
