The Cleveland Orchestra Appoints New Concertmaster

Although his start date at the Cleveland Orchestra is yet to be decided, Radzynski will hold the Blossom-Lee Concertmaster Chair, endowed by Mrs. John A. Lee in 1975 to honor of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Blossom.
As the current concertmaster of the Israel Philharmonic, Radzynski has worked with its former artistic director Zubin Mehta and newly appointed artistic director Lahav Shani, in addition to leading the ensemble on international tours.
As a soloist, he performed with Israel Philharmonic, Łódź Philharmonic, Columbus Symphony, and the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Poznan. He has also played as guest concertmaster with the Houston Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestras.
A graduate of Indiana University and Yale, his mentors include Roland and Almita Vamos, Paul Kantor, Mauricio Fuks, Kevork Mardirossian, Syoko Aki, and Ben Sayevich.
