UK Releases Timeline for Re-Opening Concert Venues

By May 17, 2021, cinemas, museums, hotels, plus performance and sporting venues will be allowed to open with social distancing guidelines still in place

Outdoor venues will be permitted to have up to 10,000 seated spectators or 25% capacity, whichever is lower. If not seated, 4,000 people or half-capacity will be allowed. For indoor events, 1,000 people or half-capacity will be acceptable.

The official government report notes the importance of the arts and entertainment sectors to the economy, and the devastating impact the pandemic has had on those sectors.
