Incredible archival footage of Russian violinist Vadim Repin's legendary 1st Prize winning performance in the Final of the 1989 Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition.

At just 17 years and 8 months old, he still today stands as the prestigious competition's youngest ever Grand Prize recipient.

The 12 Finalists for the 2019 competition have this week been announced, in Brussels - including 5 VC Young Artists.
