VC Artist Attacca Quartet Joins Pink Noise Agency
The boutique management organization will represent the quartet in North America
Founded by Gregory Brown, Pink Noise Agency is a boutique artist management organization whose roster also includes the Aizuri Quartet, Claire Chase, Allison Loggins-Hull, Grand Band, Owls, and Roomful of Teeth.
Comprised of violinists Amy Schroeder and Domenic Salerni, violist Nathan Schram, and cellist Andrew Yee, the Attacca Quartet has won first prize at the Osaka, Melbourne, and Coleman Chamber Music Competitions. Their repertoire ranges from traditional canonic works through to electronic, video game music, and contemporary collaborations.
Having won two GRAMMY awards, the group frequently collaborates with leading composers such as Caroline Shaw and John Adams — with the latter describing the quartet as "sharing his musical DNA."
Attacca has served as Juilliard's Graduate Resident String Quartet, the Quartet-in-Residence at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Ensemble-in-Residence at the School of Music at Texas State University.
"Last September, I attended one of my favorite concerts of my career: Attacca Quartet and Caroline Shaw's release show for Evergreen, at public records in Brooklyn," said Gregory Brown, the founder of Pink Noise Agency.
"I'm incredibly excited to share that the two-time GRAMMY winner Attacca Quartet is joining the Pink Noise Agency roster for booking in North America," he continued. "I'm so so so excited to work with the quartet, Moema, Tabitha, Amy Gold, and the whole Polyarts team on this new endeavor."
"Welcome Amy, Dom, Nate, and Andrew!"
