The new album includes a release tour with the Bamberger Symphoniker and conductor Jakub Hrůša. The release tour opened with a performance of both pieces in May at the Konzerthalle Bamberg in Germany. The tour continues at the Isarphilharmonie in Munich, the Seongnam Arts Center and Seoul Arts Center in Korea, and concludes on June 3 at the National Concert Hall in Taiwan.
VC Artist Bomsori is the first Korean female violinist to sign an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon. This album represents a deeply personal connection to works that she has played since her childhood, where she cherished and studied recordings from previous Deutsche Grammophon artists. Her mentor and teacher, Korean violinist Yong Uck Kim, also recorded Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1 in G Minor with the Bamberger Symphoniker in 1972, with Bomsori following in his footsteps, establishing herself as a major voice in classical music.
