The violinist joins the London-based management company, effective immediately
VC Artist violinist Marc Bouchkov announced today that he will be represented by Libby Abrahams and Daniel Rainey of Keynote Artists Management.
He joins the likes of Timothy Chooi, Philippe Quint, Hélène Grimaud, and Filippo Gorini, among others, on the Keynote roster.
"Keynote is, of course, a hugely respected and successful agency, and I look forward to the very personalized management style which they offer," Marc told The Violin Channel.
A graduate of the Paris Conservatoire and the Kronberg Academy, Marc is a former top prize winner at the Henri Koch, Montreal, and Tchaikovsky International Violin Competitions.
Bouchkov currently serves on the faculty of the Conservatoire Royale de Liège (BE) and the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein. From 2017 to 2019, he taught as Artistic Assistant at the Kronberg Academy (DE).
His orchestral appearances include performances with the HR-Sinfonieorchester and Christoph Eschenbach, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and Mariss Jansons, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, and Philippe Jordan, to name a few.
In 2021, he was invited to perform at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Ludovic Morlot, followed immediately by an invitation to be an artist in residence of the orchestra in 2022/2023. A soloist and a chamber musician, he is a regular guest of the Verbier Festival in Switzerland.
Marc has studied with Claire Bernard, Boris Garlitsky, and Mihaela Martin. Since October 2018, he is under the musical tutorship of Eduard Wulfson and currently plays a Carlo and Michelangelo Bergonzi violin from 1742-44 as a private loan on behalf of Edwulstrad RMIC Ltd.
