VC Artist Noah Bendix-Balgley Appointed to Carnegie Mellon Faculty

It has been announced that former VC 'Young Artist of the Week,' American violin virtuoso Noah Bendix-Balgley has been appointed to the faculty of the Carnegie Mellon University
The 28 year old, Indiana University and Hochschule für Musik und Theater München graduate, currently serves as Concertmaster of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and will join the teaching staff as a chamber music coach
Noah is a former prize winner at the Vibrarte, Queen Elisabeth, Long-Thibaud and Postacchini International Violin Competitions – and is a former member of the Athlos and Miro String Quartets
