We're coming to you from Bydgoszcz, Poland for the 12th International Paderewski Piano Competition.
The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities, born between 1990 and 2006, who have not been students of the Jurors in the last three years.
The competition is held to commemorate Ignacy Jan Paderewski, an outstanding pianist, composer and politician, and to promote young pianists and Polish culture worldwide. The first edition of the event was organized in 1961 and since 1998 the Competition has been held every three years.
The total prize value is 67 000 Euro. Prizewinners will also receive performance opportunities in prestigious music institutions.

FINAL ROUND
PADEREWSKI POMERANIAN PHILHARMONIC CONCERT HALL
In the final round, the participants will play a piano concerto of their choice with the Pomeranian Hall Symphony Orchestra and conductor Jakub Chrenowicz.
