Tune in here on January 27-28, 2023 for the Junior and Senior Division Final Rounds

We're coming to you LIVE from Detroit, Michigan for the Sphinx Competition 2023.

Twenty-one of the USA's top young Black and Latinx string soloists have competed in the Junior Division (ages 17 and under) and Senior Division (ages 18-30) for more than $100,000 in prizes.

Finalists in both divisions will perform with the Sphinx Symphony Orchestra, which comprises all Black and Latinx orchestral professionals.

Congratulations to 17-year-old Brandon Leonard, who won first prize at this year's Sphinx Competition Junior Division.

The Senior Division Finalists are violinists Njioma Chinyere Grevious and Alexandra Switala, and violist Dillon Scott, and will compete for the $50,000 Robert Frederick Smith Prize on Saturday, January 28 at 7:30 PM (ET).
