To be held from August 29 to September 4, in Banff, Alberta, Canada, the 2022 Banff International String Quartet Competition is one of the world’s premier chamber music competitions.

A preliminary jury made up of Aaron Boyd, Andrew Wan, and Andrew Yee selected ten of the finest quartets to participate.

These young string ensembles will vie for over $500,000 CAD in cash, prizes, performances, fellowships, and residency opportunities.
