We're coming to you from Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center in New York City for the Finale Concert of the 2023 "Day of Musical Action".

This concert features a specially-curated selection of performances from the Day of Musical Action. The program features extraordinary young artists from Kaufman Music Center, including the Special Music School High School String Orchestra performing composer Jessie Montgomery’s “Starburst” and Samuel Barber’s “Adagio for Strings,” and clarinetist Santiago Del Curto performing Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A Major with orchestra. VC Artist Charles Yang and frequent collaborator pianist Peter Dugan will also join students for Shostakovich Duos and Albert Lavignac’s “Galop Marche.”
