VC LIVE | Keshet Eilon Annual Gala Concert, New York 2021 [WATCH]
We’re coming to you from New York's private Harmonie Club this week for the Keshet Eilon Music Center annual fundraising celebration. The dinner and program will feature recent graduates of the Israeli string program, in Kibbutz Eilon in Western Galilee. These include violinists VC Rising Stars Hina and Fiona Khuong-Huu, violist Leah Glick, flutist Maron Khoury, with pianists Rohan De Silva, Alla Milchtein, and Julia Scott-Carey.
Established in 1990, the mission of the Keshet Eilon Mastercourse and Seminars, held each summer, has been to foster, develop, and promote young string musicians at the highest level from Israel and abroad as they prepare for a professional music career.
Over the past 30 years, over 1300 graduates of the program have gone on to win international prizes at major competitions, embark on solo careers, and win places in professional orchestras — and all hopefully now, from the experience, serve as ambassadors for Western Galilee and the country of Israel as a whole.
