VC LIVE | Meadowmount School of Music Presents: Student Recital

Tune in on July 2 at 7:30 PM (ET) for a recital featuring talented students of the renowned summer music school

We’re coming to you LIVE from Westport, New York, for a student recital performed by participants of the Meadowmount School of Music. From July 2 - August 6, weekly summer recitals featuring students at the school will be streamed LIVE on The Violin Channel at 7:30 PM (ET).

Founded in 1944 by violin pedagogue Ivan Galamian, the 7-week summer program nestled amongst the picturesque Adirondack Mountains offers an immersive, professional training ground for highly accomplished and aspiring young violinists, cellists, violists, and pianists.

Former students of the Meadowmount School of Music include Itzhak Perlman, Ani and Ida Kavafian, Kyung-Wha and Myung-Wha Chung, Jesse Montgomery, Pinchas Zukerman, Jaime Laredo, Michael Rabin, Yo-Yo Ma, Lynn Harrell, Joshua Bell, James Ehnes, among others.
