Currently holding the Dorothy Richard Starling Chair for Violin at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Mr. Sassmannshaus' students have won prizes at major international competitions. He is also the founder of violinmasterclass.com, a website with free instruction on violin playing.
