Conducted by Alan Gilbert, the concert promises an exhilarating program including Stravinsky's showstopper Sacre, Dutilleux's Métaboles, and a world premiere with violinist Joshua Bell as the soloist!

"The Elements - Suite for Orchestra and Violin" was written by a whole team of composers including — Jake Heggie, Jennifer Higdon, Edgar Meyer, Jessie Montgomery, and Kevin Puts — each having written a six to eight-minute piece devoted to one of the five elements of ancient Greek and traditional Chinese Philosophy!
