Tune in on February 2 at 4 PM (ET) for a special birthday tribute event from the Heifetz Studio at The Colburn School
We're coming to you LIVE from Los Angeles, California, for a special concert at The Colburn School in celebration of Jascha Heifetz's birthday.
A protégé of Leopold Auer, Heifetz is remembered in history as one of the most important and influential musicians of all time. This concert, organized by Jascha Heifetz Distinguished Violin Chair Robert Lipsett, features violinists from the Colburn Conservatory performing from the Heifetz Studio.
The studio, which includes Heifetz's original furnishings, photographs, and memorabilia, was carefully deconstructed following the death of Heifetz and was rebuilt at The Colburn School.
