VC LIVE | WQXR Celebrates Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month

The performances will feature the likes of violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, percussionist Ji Su Jung, and pianist David Fung

Hosted by two-time GRAMMY Award-winner and cellist Andrew Yee, WQXR celebrates Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a concert at New York City's The Greene Space.

The evening will feature violinist virtuoso Anne Akiko Meyers, Korean percussionist and 2022 Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient Ji Su Jung, and pianist David Fung — plus insights from comedian Ben X. Kim.

Observed in the United States during the month of May, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month recognizes the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
