VC RISING STAR | Stars Aligned Siblings String Quartet

 

Chamber music students of Ayke Agus and students at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division, the group comprises violinists Dustin Breshears (15) and Valery Breshears (12), violist Colin Breshears (9), and cellist Starla Breshears (14).

Stars Aligned is a former top prize winner at the St. Paul String Quartet Competition, Kreutzer International Music Competition, Chicago International Music Competition, U.S. International Music Competition, and the Piero Farulli International Competition.

The group has given chamber and solo concerts at the Festival Alfonso Ortiz Tirado, Iguazu en Concierto, San Francisco Conservatory of Music Gala, Festival Napa Valley, Bear Valley Music Festival, and the Steinway Society's outreach to local schools in their community.
