17 year old German violinist Lara Boschkor is explosively building an impressive international reputation as an emerging young soloist of outstanding potential

17 year old German violinist Lara Boschkor is explosively building an impressive international reputation as an emerging young soloist of outstanding potential.

A student of Erik Schumann at the Kronberg Academy, Lara is a former 1st prize winner at the Szeryng, Flesch, Jeunesses, and Johansen International Violin Competitions - and was just last month awarded 1st prize at the 2017 Tonali Violin Competition in Hamburg, Germany.

Her recent debuts include solo engagements with the Osaka Symphony, Armenian Philharmonic and the State Symphony Orchestra of Mexico.

She currently performs on 1740 Carlo Antonio Testore violin - on generous loan from the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
