Harmonia Mundi Records has announced the release of violinist Amandine Beyer's New CD: 'Haydn: Concerti per Esterházy'
Harmonia Mundi Records has this week announced the release of French baroque violinist Amandine Beyer's new disc: Haydn: Concerti per Esterházy.
Recorded with Italian cellist Marco Ceccato and the Paris-based early music ensemble Gli Incogniti Ensemble, the disc features Haydn's Violin Concerti No. 1 and No. 4 in C Major and G Minor - and Cello Concerto No. 1 in C Major.
"To play Haydn with the Gli Incogniti is a totally new experience ... and the idea of this adventure was to see how we could integrate our knowledge, our baroque skills and our experience of earlier repertory into this more 'modern' music ..." Amandine has told The Violin Channel.
"I would love for listeners to feel the happiness of this music ... with our busy and sometimes stressful lives, this can hopefully be a reminder of just how beautiful and easy things can be," she has said.
