Violinist Aubree Oliverson Signs to Askonas Holt Management
Aubree Oliverson joins Askonas Holt general management following the Colburn Artists program in Los Angeles, which is Colburn Conservatory of Music’s management program for students pursuing professional music careers.
Oliverson made her Carnegie Hall recital debut at age 12 and has performed to sold-out audiences at the Grand Teton Music Festival, SOKA, and SCERA Center for Performing Arts.
Her accolades include the “2021 Special Prize of Merit” for violin at Switzerland’s Verbier Festival Academy and a National YoungArts Foundation award — in addition to being honored as a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts and selected for the Dorothy DeLay Fellowship and concerto performance at the Aspen Music Festival.
Her upcoming recitals will take place in Rome, L.A., and Ridgecrest, California as part of violinist Midori Gotō’s “Partners in Performance” Recital Series.
A former student of Debbie Moench, Eugene Watanabe, and Danielle Belen, Oliverson currently attends the Colburn school studying with the Jascha Heifetz Distinguished Violin Chair of the conservatory, Robert Lipsett.
She plays on a 1743 Sanctus Seraphin violin — generously on loan from Dr. James Stewart.
“I believe it is a great privilege to be able to share music with people, and I’m thrilled to be working with the management team at Askonas Holt to pursue opportunities to perform for new audiences,” Aubree told The Violin Channel. “It’s an honor to be joining a roster that contains artists I’ve admired for so long, and I can’t wait to see what the future brings.”
