Violinist Ava Bahari Signs with HarrisonParrott
The Swedish violinist will receive worldwide general management
Swedish violinist Ava Bahari will be managed by Liz Sam, Maja Rath, and Brooke Newton from the UK agency HarrisonParrott.
Mentored by Per Enoksson in Sweden, Bahari then studied with Kolja Blacher at Berlin's Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler," and will receive her Konzertexamen diploma in the spring of 2024.
She is the third prize recipient at the Premio Paganini Competition in Genova, fourth prize at the Concours International Tibor Varga in Sion in 2021, and first prize at the Aurora Music Competition in Stockholm in 2019.
Bahari has performed with a number of orchestras, such as the Gothenburg Symphony, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Teatro Carlo Felice Genova, Baden-Baden Philharmonie, Malmö Symfoniorkester, and the symphony orchestras of Odense and Gävle.
As a chamber player, Bahari has appeared at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and Santander Music Festival, and has played with musicians such as Kirill Gerstein, Daniel Hope, Adrien La Marca, and Camille Thomas.
She plays on a violin G. F. Pressenda (made in Turin in 1829), which is on loan from the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
"I’m happy to share I have joined the wonderful HarrisonParrott for general management," Bahari wrote.
"We are delighted to welcome Swedish violinist Ava Bahari to our roster for worldwide general management!" HarrisonParrott added.
