VC Young Artist Emmanuel Tjeknavorian Appointed Vienna Musikverein Artist-In-Residence
The Vienna Musikverein has announced the appointment of Austrian violinist, VC Young Artist Emmanuel Tjeknavorian as its new Artist-in-Residence
The Vienna Musikverein Concert Hall, in Vienna, has this week announced the appointment of 23-year-old Austrian violinist, VC Young Artist Emmanuel Tjeknavorian as its new 2019-2020 Artist-in-Residence.
A student of Gerhard Schulz at the Vienna University of Music, Emmanuel is a former major prize winner at the Brahms, Goldberg, Kreisler and Sibelius International Violin Competitions.

As part of his season residency, Emmanuel will perform with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra, under the batons of conductors Alain Altinoglu and Jakob Hrusa - plus perform a duo-recital with pianist Maximilian Kromer.
Emmanuel will be the youngest musician in history to hold this honour.
