Violinist Nicola Benedetti Launches New Online Educational Video Series

Violinist Nicola Benedetti has announced the launch of a new online educational video series for young musicians and teachers - called 'With Nicky'

Violinist Nicola Benedetti has today announced the launch of a new online educational video series, called With Nicky - set to be published weekly with the intention of providing information, guidance and support for young musicians and teachers throughout their musical and personal development. 

“I am deeply excited to be finally launching this video series …” the 31-year-old Scottish-born violin virtuoso has told The Violin Channel.

“I have had the huge fortune in my life of being exposed to some of the world’s greatest violin and music teachers … and I want to make as much of the information is available to as many people as possible," she has said.

“My hope is this will be a useful resource and friendly support for young musicians, amateur musicians, educationalists … and to anyone interested in instrumental music from all over the world.”

The video series will be the first element of Nicola's newly-launched Benedetti Foundation - which will also include upcoming weekend workshops, masterclasses and educational activities.

As an official media partner, The Violin Channel will be publishing a new video in the With Nicky series each week.

The first in the series will be released on Tuesday the 29th of January.
