Today is American violinist, VC Artist Simone Porter’s 24th birthday!
A graduate of the Colburn School, where she studied with Robert Lipsett, Simone is a recent recipient of a prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant.
She currently performs on a 1745 J.B. Guadagnini violin – on generous loan from the Mandell Collection of Southern California.
