WACKY WEDNESDAY | Barbershop Quartet Performs Medley of 25 Kids’ TV Themes
The Ashatones have released an a capella arrangement of popular TV tunes, ranging from classics like Scooby-Doo to Pokémon and Peppa Pig
The UK-based barbershop quartet, The Ashatones, was formed at the University of Leeds in 2013. The group comprises singers Ashley Jacobs, Sam McCagherty, Harry Style, and Alex Weston.
Aged between 27 and 29, the quartet members pay homage to themes from the 1960s up to contemporary tunes. The entire medley was arranged by Style and Jacobs, with its music video directed by Eleanor Pead.

The video is also available to purchase on The Ashatones’ Bandcamp page for a self-selected price. All its proceeds will be donated to Music for Youth, a charity that provides young people across the UK access to free performance and progression opportunities, regardless of background or musical style.
More themes in the medley include The Simpsons and Teletubbies with Winnie The Pooh and Bananas In Pajamas. Others are Bear In The Big Blue House, Top Cat, Flintstones, Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Pinky and the Brain, Smurfs, Peppa Pig, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Bob The Builder.
“We're oh-so-proud to present our Kids TV Theme Tune Medley,” posted The Ashatones on social media. “Without doubt, our wackiest musical creation to date. From Top Cat to Pokémon, we promise there’s something for everyone.”
