Warner Classics Partners With Through The Noise Series
The through the noise concert platform will collaborate with the record label's artists, including cellist Abel Selaocoe and soprano Fatma Said
Through the noise is an independent guide to live classical music events in London. For its 2023/24 season, it has partnered with record label Warner Classics.
The record label’s roster of various artists will perform across venues in England within through the noise’s popular noisenight concerts, which showcase classical music performed by international artists.
Warner Classics artists, singer Fatma Said and cellist Abel Selaocoe, are among those returning to noisenights to perform from their recent award-winning albums.
Selaocoe will be completing his first tour with through the noise, and in a noisenight debut, guitarist Thibaut Garcia will be introducing his next album on Warner’s subsidiary Erato label, El Bohemio.
Noisenights was launched in 2020 by Jack Bazalgette and Jack Crozier for international classical musicians to perform in local venues across England through a crowdfunding model, putting concert plans to local communities for support in return for tickets.
Since its inception, through the noise has hosted album launch events and brought international artists to the UK for one-off appearances in front of new audiences. The series aimed to reach audiences that might otherwise not have access to high-caliber live classical performers.
“through the noise is doing incredible work breaking down barriers in classical music by making it exciting and accessible to young, enthusiastic music lovers,” said Warner Classics UK director, Sean Michael Gross.
“I’ve been a fan of Noisenights since attending my first more than a year ago, and we at Warner Classics are thrilled to be partnering with them to bring the amazing artistry of Fatma Said, Abel Selaocoe and Thibaut Garcia to UK audiences this autumn.”
