We're coming to you direct from Wigmore Hall each Monday morning for a special chamber music recital – LIVE from the iconic London concert hall.

This concert features violinist Alina Ibragimova and pianist Cédric Tiberghien performing works by Robert Schumann.

Violin Sonata No. 1 in A minor Op. 105

Violin Sonata No. 2 in D minor Op. 121

A recipient of the Royal Philharmonic Society Young Artist Award 2010, the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award 2008, the Classical BRIT and Young Performer of the Year Award 2009, Alina Ibragimova is an alumnus of the BBC New Generation Artists Scheme (2005-07). She was made an MBE in the 2016 New Year Honours List.

A founding member of the period ensemble Chiaroscuro Quartet, she also regularly collaborates with pianist Cédric Tiberghien with concerts across Europe and North America.

The 2022/23 season sees Ibragimova perform concertos with the Budapest Festival Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, London Philharmonic, Helsinki Philharmonic, Dresden Philharmonic, and Cologne’s Gürzenich-Orchester.
