2 MIN READ
The renowned cellist turned his post-vaccination observation period into a heart-warming concert
After receiving the second dose of the COVID vaccine at Berkshire Community College, Ma brought out his cello and played "Ave Maria" and Bach's Cello Suite No. 1.
"Today at the #MyBCC vaccination clinic, the folks waiting for 15 minutes in observation were graced with the musical talents of the one and only Yo-Yo Ma," stated the College on an Instagram post.
The surprise concert comes one year after Ma shared his first #SongsOfComfort post on social media, where he performed Dvorák's “Going Home.” The initiative aims to provide comfort in a time of anxiety and fear. Thousands of people around the world have joined him and uploaded performances throughout the year.
