Young Concert Artists Announce 44 Semi-Finalists for International Auditions

The winners will be determined in a live-streamed concert on November 13, 2022

The New York-based nonprofit Young Concert Artists (YCA) recently announced the 44 young artists and ensembles who will proceed to the semi-final round of the YCA International Auditions.

In order to arrive at the longlist for the semi-finals, YCA held live auditions in New York and Los Angeles, as well as received recorded auditions from all over the world.

Each year, YCA uses its International Auditions to select a group of young musicians to add to their roster. The winning artists will receive debuts in both New York City and Washington, DC, as well as at least three years of career management.

They will be given performance opportunities, promotional marketing services, travel arrangements, educational residency experience, and extensive professional development.

The final round of auditions will be live-streamed on YCA's YouTube and Facebook pages on Sunday, November 13.

The YCA International Auditions have been highlighting the work of exceptional young musicians for over 60 years. Previous winners include artists such as Emanuel Ax, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Dawn Upshaw, and Pinchas Zukerman.
