14 year old Emma Meinrenken, from Canada, has been awarded 1st prize in the Junior Division of the 2013 Stradivarius International Violin Competition, in Utah, USA

2nd prize was awarded to Colleen Venables, from Canada – and 3rd prize to Gallia Kastner, from the United States

Emma, a scholarship student at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Canada, will receive USD $7,500, a Charles W. Lui violin - and a solo engagement with the Utah Symphony
