Prizes Awarded at 2016 Mirecourt International Violin Competition
25 year old Yoo Na Ha from South Korea has been awarded 1st prize at the 2016 Mirecourt International Violin Competition
25 year old Yoo Na Ha from South Korea has today been awarded 1st prize at the 2016 Mirecourt International Violin Competition - in Mirecourt, France.
A graduate of the National University of Seoul and the Paris Conservatoire, Yoo Na is a former 1st prize winner at the Novosibirsk International Violin Competition.
She will receive €5,000 (USD $5400) – presented by the City of Mirecourt and the Lions Club.
2nd prize was awarded to 22 year old Carla Ines Marrero Martinez from Spain.
3rd and 4th prizes were awarded to 24 year old Eimi Wakui from Japan and 15 year old Hana Wakamatsu from Japan.
This year’s jury comprises: Ilya Grubert (President), Marianne Piketty (Artistic Director), Friedemann Eichhorn, Dong-Suk Kang and Jan Repko.
