Applications Open to University of Delaware's Graduate String Program
Prospective graduate students looking to receive funding should apply by January 15, 2023

The application deadline is January 15, 2023, for those interested in funding. The School of Music offers competitive Graduate Assistantships, Teaching Assistantships, and Tuition Scholarships to qualified full-time graduate students. For more information and to apply, click here.
The graduate audition days are Wednesday, January 25 – Saturday, January 28, 2023. Applicants who cannot attend in person have the option to submit a pre-recorded audition.
In addition to an audition and interview, prospective students must provide recommendations and a personal statement.
Admission is based on the number of well-qualified applicants and available space in each faculty. The prospective student is expected to have an undergraduate degree in music or its equivalent from an accredited college or university. Additionally, the School of Music does not require GRE scores for admission.

In the string department, faculty members include violinists Guillaume Combet, Xiang Gao, and Elicia Silverstein, violist Elias Goldstein, and cellist Lawrence Stomberg.
For pre-formed string quartets, applications are now open for the University of Delaware's Graduate String Quartet Fellowship, which will work closely with the Calidore String Quartet.
