TRAGIC NEWS | Two Aspen Music Festival Students Killed in Horror Car Accident

21 year old American tuba player Ben Darneille and 23 year old trumpeter Alex Greene have died in a car accident near Rock Springs, Wyoming - on Monday evening.

Ben, a student at the DePaul University and Alex, a student at the Curtis Institute of Music, had both recently finished summer Fellowships at the Aspen Festival of Music.

“It’s hit everyone here very hard … they were just super guys. Everybody loved them.” Aspen Festival President, Alan Fletcher has said.

It has been reported that the two were en route to Jackson, Wyoming when their car, travelling in the wrong lane, collided with an oncoming truck.
