Hungarian violinist Peter Komlos has passed away - aged 81

Hungarian violinist Peter Komlos has passed away - aged 81.

A graduate of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, he was a founding member of the Bartok String Quartet and served as long-term Concertmaster of the Hungarian State Opera Orchestra.

Mr Komlos also held a long-term teaching position on faculty at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.

Our condolences are with his family, friends, colleagues and students.
